Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Customer Care Specialist must possess superior customer service skills. This individual will be responsible for answering incoming calls into ValuNet, listening to and interpreting customer requests, while providing appropriate and timely resolution to them.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Assist with Walk-In Customer Traffic up to and including taking payments.
  • Answer Incoming Calls to the main ValuNet Customer Service Number
  • Route calls to the appropriate department.
  • Open Trouble Tickets / Bill Dispute Tickets
  • Receive and Process Customer Payments
  • Customer Appointment Reminders – Emails/Phone Calls
  • Inside Sales Activity
    • Explain ValuNet Products and Services
    • Quote Pricing
  • Special Projects
  • Additional duties as assigned by Management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

SKILLS Previous work in customer service. Graduation from accredited high school. Good driving record.

Individual needs to be self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is a must. Proficiency with Excel and knowledge of computer systems is required. Applicant will have strong communication and time management skills, Bi-lingual is a plus.


Purchasing/Inventory Clerk

Location: 2914 West Highway 50 Emporia Hours: M-F 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Purchasing/Inventory Clerk performs all aspects of purchasing for ValuNet FIBER and for managing the inventory, distribution and control of those items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Initiate purchase orders and maintain good working relationships with vendors
  • Receive deliveries and complete purchase orders
  • Physically stock and maintain inventory levels
  • Perform periodic inventory counts
  • Continually identify appropriate supplier for comparative pricing and obsolete equipment
  • Process returned equipment
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of inventory warehouse
  • Assist with other duties as requested by Management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

SKILLS Previous work experience with inventory and purchasing. Ability to Lift 50lbs. Graduation from accredited high school. Good driving record.
